A strawberry shortcake birthday cake + candles + a match = fear
Daddy couldn't keep her on her chair once the candles were lit.
With a little coaxing and Daddy at her side she was able to blow the candles out.
She is very afraid of fire. This summer camping at the Lake we had to sit her on chair a couple hundred yards down the beach away from our camp site and the fire while we roasted hot dogs and marshmallows. This must be the Mason coming out in her. (Bad fire history in our family).

(Bad fire history in our family).I must set the record straight from my last post; the men were great to interrupt the game to do the party celebration stuff like open presents and blow out candles! I just like giving Jason a bad time. He was very nice to let us do her party at his house since we don't have a big screen T.V.

I did make the cake. It is surprising that this uncrafty mom could actually pull it off, but I did.
