I just saw this on Emily Rowland Newberry facebook status and had to pass it on. She and her kids held an afternoon bake sale in her neighborhood to raise money for Garth.

In her words, "THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!! To all our generous friends, and neighbors who came to the bake sale and donated to help Garth Abbott! We were able to take him over $550!!! I am truly touched by the generosity of people who don't even know him! You are all amazing, THANK YOU!!!!"

I can't help but include this proverb here with this post. I have seen so much of both sides of this in the last 10 days. There is no question about how much goodness exists in this world!
