item: I will donate 4 hours of tutoring. I have tutored professionally in math (I can do all levels, although my calculus is a little rusty), reading, study skills, and SAT prep. I got a bachelors in biology teaching and am certified to teach any high school science - I taught all levels of high school biology (resource, first year, and AP). I have a masters and PhD in Neuroscience. I live in the Dallas/ Ft. Worth area, but my family is in Las Vegas. I generally visit 2-3 times a year. If you are in Las Vegas and need tutoring I can try to arrange my visits close to times that would be helpful. If you have a high school student that needs to prepare to take the SAT I could work with him/her over the summer. Parents pay $50 per hour at Sylvan Learnign Centers, so I guess this would be valued at $200.
