item: I'm willing to donate a meal of slow roasted BBQ pork ribs and sides (garden salad, whipped sweet potatoes and rolls) as well as dessert (warm apple cake with carmel sauce) to be delivered in the Henderson area. The meal should feed 6-8 people and would probably retail for about $50.

On a side note:Garth was Bishop Abbott to me several years ago while I was in the University Singles Ward. At that time I was dating a great guy who was not a member of the church. Bishop Abbot decided that he wanted to meet this guy and anyone who knows Garth knows that when he puts his mind to something he doesn't let go. He met him and over the course of time became his friend and played a very instrumental role in him joining the church. Bishop Abbott later attended our wedding in the San Diego Temple and performed our ring ceremony later that afternoon at Disneyland. He is a wonderful man and truly gives all of himself. He exemplifies the Savior in so many ways, including that of leaving the 99 to go after the one. We owe much of our happiness to him and are pleased to report that we now have 2 beautiful boys and are very active in our ward and we still enjoy monthly temple visits. We love him and will pray for him and your family.
