If not now. . . .When? I have been feeling the "blogging" presure for long time, and I have resisted doing it for a lot of reasons. The primary one is that my husband is a lot more private than I am and doesn't want our life on display. After assuring him that it is "safe" and that I will avoid being too personal (I hope) he has stopped saying no. I decided at the start of the new year that I would finally start a blog, and here it is the end of June, and I still haven't started. Sometimes my desire to have everything all figured out and perfect keeps me from moving forward, but I woke up this morning and decided that the perfect time, with the perfect blog background, and the perfect words might never come. So here is my oh so not perfect life on display! I have titled it "The Daily Abbott" not because I expect to report daily nor do I plan on writing in a reporter's style, but to highlight the average, mundane, but real happenings that make up our daily life.
A little refresher about our family. Jon and I have been married for eleven years. We have six children: Josie 9; Wyatt 7; Waylan almost 6; Colt 4; Savvy 2; Flint almost 1. We have been in the Las Vegas area are entire marriage--Jon his entire life except for his mission. We are both native Nevadans, and our family knows and sings the Nevada State song often!
